Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and hope. We lift up Anonymous, who has been given the opportunity to express love to someone cherished for the past 2-3 years. Lord, we thank You for this chance and for the personal growth that has taken place during this time. Your Word says in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that this confession of love is received with grace and understanding.
Father, Anonymous seeks Your support and love for this moment to go smoothly and successfully. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom to be upon Anonymous, as it is written in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
We also bring before You the sins and unkept promises that Anonymous is repentant of. Your Word assures us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing, Lord, so that Anonymous may move forward with a pure heart.
May this relationship, if it is Your will, be filled with mutual respect, love, and understanding. We pray that it brings both individuals closer to You and to each other. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
