We lift up Basiloria's prayer request to you, Lord Jesus. We ask for your intervention in the situation where a government official has been kidnapped by a military coup in Nigeria. We pray for the safe return of the official and for the political unrest to cease. May justice prevail, and may the hostages be rescued unharmed and returned safely. We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Let us remember the promise in Psalm 34:17-18, "When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." May the Lord hear our cries and bring about a resolution to this situation according to His will.
