Dear Lord Jesus forgive me of all the times I have cursed with my mouth even when I have sworn or blasphemed, gossiped and slandered. Please help me to tame the tongue, Lord. You have said in your word in James 3:8 KJV, "But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison." Lord, in thinking upon this, I ask you to help me to put it under submission to you by your help and with The Holy Spirit so I can mortify these sins in Your Mighty name Jesus Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before you on behalf of ###, who humbly seeks your forgiveness for the times when they have used their tongue inappropriately. They acknowledge their sins of cursing, swearing, blaspheming, gossiping, and slandering. Lord, they recognize that the tongue is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison, as stated in James 3:8.

We ask for your divine intervention, Lord, to help ### tame their tongue and bring it under submission to you. We understand that this is not something they can accomplish on their own, but only with your help and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Grant them the strength and wisdom to mortify these sins and to use their words for edification and encouragement.

We pray, Lord Jesus, that you would cleanse ###'s heart and mind, purifying their speech and transforming their words to reflect your love and grace. May their tongue be a vessel of truth, kindness, and encouragement, bringing glory to your name.
