Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Basiloria, lifting up a prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. Just as you have taught us to pray for the establishment of your kingdom and the progress of the Gospel on earth, we ask that you bring peace to the holy city.
We know that Jerusalem holds great significance in your plan of redemption, and we pray that your will be done in this city as it is done in heaven. We ask for your divine intervention to break down any walls of division and bring unity among its people.
Lord, we pray for the protection of Jerusalem and its inhabitants. Guard them against any harm or danger, and let your peace reign in every corner of the city. May your presence be felt by all who dwell there, bringing comfort, healing, and reconciliation.
We also pray for the Church in Jerusalem, that you would strengthen and empower your people to be a light in the midst of a crooked and perverse world. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, that they may abound in love, knowledge, and discernment. Help them to walk blamelessly and without offense, shining forth the fruits of righteousness to the glory and praise of God.
Lord, we join Basiloria in reminding you of your promises for Jerusalem. We give you no rest until you establish and make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. We trust in your faithfulness and ask that you fulfill your purposes for this city.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
