We understand that you are going through a difficult time, feeling desperate and worried about finding a job. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' " And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of need, it is important to remember that God is our provider. As it is written in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." And in Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to worry about what we will eat or drink or wear but seek first God's kingdom, and He will provide for us as our Heavenly Father knows what we need and cares for us. Please read these scriptures and let them encourage you.
However, we must also do our part by being diligent and proactive. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB: "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' " Have you been actively seeking employment and exploring different opportunities? Remember to rely on God's strength and guidance as you do so. This includes using your God-given gifts to help others. For some it looks different than a traditional job.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in need of employment. We thank You for Your faithfulness and provision. We ask that You open the right doors for her, and guide her steps as she seeks to find a job. Help her to trust in You and not worry, knowing that You are her Provider and You care for her needs. Help her to be diligent and proactive in her job search. Help her see her gifts and opportunities around her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and keep trusting in God. If you need further guidance or have other concerns, feel free to share with us. We are here to help and pray with you.
