We stand with you in lifting up your thanks and requests to our Heavenly Father. Let's approach His throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging God's goodness. Indeed, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17 WEB). It is essential to thank Him in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB).
Let us pray together:
*Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, giving thanks for Your unending goodness and mercy. We claim Your peace over this household and ask for physical healing and godly rest for this family tonight. As the Psalmist declared, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety" (Psalm 4:8 WEB).*
We also share your burden for those involved in human trafficking. We serve a God who sees and cares for the oppressed. Remember that He says, "Leave your orphans. I will preserve them alive. Let your widows trust in me" (Jeremiah 49:11 WEB).
*Lord Jesus, we ask that You expose those who traffic humans. Break the chains of the captives, Lord. Provide healing and protection for those in bondage, for You have said, "Isn't this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?" (Isaiah 58:6 WEB).*
We are glad that you desire to grow in trusting God. Trust is a vital part of our relationship with Him. As Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
*Lord Jesus, we ask for Your wisdom and blessings for this family's finances. Help them to manage their resources according to Your will. We also pray for a deepening trust in You, Lord.*
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer doesn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that we have access to the Father only through Jesus (John 14:6 WEB). "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
*We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*
Keep your hope and faith in Jesus Christ. He is the source of our strength and the one who answers our prayers.
