We join you, dear brother or sister, in lifting up your prayers to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful for your heart of thanksgiving and intercession. Let us align our prayers with the Word of God and seek His will together.
Firstly, we thank God for His goodness towards you and your family, as it is written in James 1:17, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning."
We pray for the peace of God to reign in your household, as Colossians 3:15 instructs, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." We also ask the Lord for physical healing and godly rest for your family, as well as for yourself, according to Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."
Regarding the grave issue of human trafficking, we stand with you in prayer, asking God to expose those involved in such wickedness. We pray for the healing and protection of the victims, as Isaiah 61:1 tells us, "He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound."
We also pray for your trust in the Lord to grow, as Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Furthermore, we pray for God's wisdom and blessings over your family's finances, as Proverbs 10:22 states, "The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it."
Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We gently remind you that it is by His name that we have access to God, as John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 proclaims, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
