Grant him patience and wisdom to discern Your will and to trust in Your timing. We know that You have good plans for him, plans to give him hope and a future. Help him to rest in this assurance and to trust in Your faithfulness.
We also pray for strength and unity in their marriage during this time. May they support and encourage each other, growing closer together and to You.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:6, WEB)
We encourage your husband to acknowledge God in all his ways, trusting that the Lord will direct his paths. May he seek God's will above all else, knowing that God's plans are always good and perfect.

I just said a prayer for your husband, friend. May the Lord work in his circumstances, lead him to the job He has chosen for him and show him His best plan in the coming days. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this comforting thought from the psalmist: "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34: 4).

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
