Heavenly Father,
We come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your grace and mercy. Lord, we lift up our dear friend ###, who is facing a challenging situation with a difficult senior colleague. Your Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we ask for Your peace to envelop ### tonight. Grant the strength and wisdom to navigate through this duty with grace and patience. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Help ### to trust in Your plan and to find comfort in Your presence.
Father, we also pray for the senior colleague. May Your Holy Spirit work in her heart, softening any harshness and fostering a spirit of cooperation and understanding. Ephesians 4:31-32 reminds us to "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." May there be a spirit of kindness and forgiveness in their interaction.
Lord, we pray for a smooth and stress-free night for ###. Guide every step and every action, and let Your presence be felt strongly. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
