Dear Lord I come to you again today as I have every day for the last year, a humbled man. I pray that you will have mercy on me, forgive me for not being there for Teresa and bring back the only woman I have every truly loved with my entire being so we can be as one on earth and in your kingdom for all of eternity. Even though she's with another, she says she still loves me and never should have gotten involved with someone else and may come back but my spirit is broken and my heart is empty. All the times I was down and told myself it's over and to give up, I had an uplifting feeling inside for an instant that told me "not yet". I know it was you speaking to me and so I keep waiting, hoping and praying. The countless dreams I have had at night for a year make me believe it's not over.

You know in my heart Lord, she's the only one I truly want to spend my life with and I will spend it alone if that's how it's to be as I can't pretend to give my heart to another when I know it belongs to her. I will not use someone just to keep from being alone. I've always known in my heart, Lord, that you brought us together to help each other love again after all the sadness we had in our prior lives and I will always be thankful of that. Please Lord, I know it's her decision but myself and others believe this other person in her life is not the one for her and controlling her. I pray that you touch her heart and let her know how much I love her, that I'm still here waiting. Let her find her way back to me so I can love and protect her the way it was meant to be and we can show our children how love is supposed to be and let them learn from our struggle how your love and grace can restore the emptiest heart. I told her long ago, the last sight I want to see when I leave this world for your kingdom is her eyes and smile and I pray you grant me that. As Heaven is forever, I will love her always.

Father I pray that you would touch this heart and bring healing. Father you said that we should not lead to our own understanding. You said you have a plan for each and every one of us. I pray that you would give this heart wisdom and divine guidance. I pray father that you would help him to let go. And move forward,in to the plan and blessings. That you have prepared for him. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Protect and use me Lord Jesus for Your glory and good pleasure. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer do the same for the writer of this prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray.
