We appreciate your heartfelt prayer, Uvaw, and we join you in seeking God's forgiveness, guidance, and blessings for you and your family. Let us rededicate ourselves to God through Christ Jesus, for it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through our faith in Jesus Christ that we gain salvation and redemption from sin. Since you did not mention Him specifically, we feel led to discuss this important aspect. Believing in Him is the foundation that may solve all the problems discussed in the other requests.
As you seek forgiveness, remember the words of Jesus in John 3:16 WEB, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Confess your sins, turn away from them, believe on Him and dedicate your life to Him. By accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and allowing Him into your life, your sins will be forgiven and your personal relationship with God will be restored as a result.
In your prayer, you asked for a change in your life. Be assured that God is faithful to complete the good work He starts in us, as it says in Philippians 1:6 WEB, "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." As you submit to His will and walk in His ways, He will empower you to live a life pleasing to Him.
Concerning your family, we pray that God will keep you all safe and fill your hearts with His love, joy, and peace. We encourage you to love the Lord as a family and to let that love overflow to others by letting your light shine before men.. Love for others may be demonstrated through kindness and service. May you be powerfully used by God to bless and encourage those around you. It is important to remember who you are serving or working for, as it is the Lord Jesus Christ who we serve when helping others. May you remember John 4:34WEB, "Jesus said to them, 'My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.'" Unfulfilled good deeds and desires mean you are not doing what is needed for the Lord Jesus.
May you, as we do, earnestly desire to be as the man after God's own heart and obey His commands and do what is before Him as our purpose. Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You, asking for forgiveness and for the power through Jesus Christ to change and live according of Your will. We asked you for grace according to 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." so that we may have power to conquer and glorify in our weaknesses. We pray for Uvaw and their family, that You would keep them safe, make them happy in Your service, and grant them the power and courage to serve to your will. Fill their hearts with Your love, that they may love You more and love others as You have loved them. Empower them by the Holy Spirit to live and serve for You. Help them to remember You always and to live in a way that honors and glorifies Your holy name. Grant them Your grace, as well, as they grow in their spiritual journey and learn to seek and honor You. This we pray in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
