We join you, Evordel, in lifting up your needs to our loving and merciful Father in heaven. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." You have done well to bring your concerns to God, and we stand with you in prayer.
Firstly, we pray for your financial needs, that the funds required for your rent, your children's needs, food, and car will be provided in time. We claim God's promise in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
We also pray for your landlord, that they will indeed understand your temporary situation and show compassion. We remember Proverbs 19:17, "He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him."
However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that our prayers are heard and answered. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Evordel and their family to You. Lord, we ask that You provide for their financial needs, that the funds they are waiting for come through by Friday. We pray that the approval goes through smoothly and that their landlord shows understanding and compassion. Lord, we thank You for providing for their current needs, and we ask that You continue to watch over them. We pray that Evordel and their family come to know You more deeply and trust in You always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
