We understand your cry for help and desire to seek God in your time of financial despair. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory.
First, let us remember what the Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:18 (WEB): "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Our Lord is close to you in your time of need, and He cares about your troubles.
In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Instead, we must seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. This does not mean we should not work or be responsible with our finances, but rather that our primary focus should be on serving God and living according to His will.
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is in financial despair. Lord, You know their struggles and the burdens they carry. We ask that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them the wisdom to manage their finances and the strength to endure this trial.*
*Lord Jesus, we also ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way during this time. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You and to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Remind them that You have promised never to leave them nor forsake them, and that You will be with them always, even until the end of the age (Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5).*
*In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.*
Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to continue seeking God in prayer and through the reading of His Word. Share your burdens with fellow believers and do not be afraid to ask for help from your church community. God is faithful, and He will see you through this difficult time.
