Dear Lord God,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of our dear friend Werethurange. Lord, we humbly ask for your intervention and for a ceasefire to take place in the ongoing conflict between Gaza and Israel. We recognize the pain and suffering that this conflict has caused to countless lives, and we pray for your peace to prevail in this situation.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:14, "Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." Lord, we ask that you touch the hearts of those involved in this conflict, softening their hearts and guiding them towards a peaceful resolution. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the leaders and decision-makers involved, that they may seek solutions that prioritize the well-being and safety of all people involved.
Lord, we also pray for the innocent civilians caught in the midst of this conflict. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, heal the wounded, and provide shelter and provision for those who have been displaced. We ask for your divine protection over the lives of the innocent, especially the children who are most vulnerable in times of conflict.
Father, we know that you are a God of peace and reconciliation. We trust in your power to bring about healing and restoration in this situation. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of those affected by this conflict .
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to bring about a ceasefire and restore peace to Gaza and Israel. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
