Now, Visualize yourself sitting on a little boat on a lake of perfectly still waters as evening approaches. You can't help but notice how beautiful the silhouettes of the trees and mountains cast their images off the water's smooth reflection as it spans all around you. "It is so peaceful and quit in this place", you say to yourself, as you feel the unison and harmony of the baby blue skies with the earth melt as one together. At that moment you begin to realize that Everything around you is so happy and alive and is so thankful to be there. This feeling makes you feel so happy too. You begin to think to yourself, this is so wonderful and start thanking God for the peace of mind that is happening to you at this very moment. He then sends a subtle calming breeze through your body and whispers, I am with you always and forever. This thought stays with you so close, filling your heart with tears of joy, as you thank him for loving you so much. Then all of a sudden, this loud abrupt noise penetrates your silent, peaceful, happy thoughts. It won't stop yelling as it makes its way more and more present into your boat and sits between you and God. "I knew it!" you say to yourself, it is anxious trying to come to pull me away from the boat and God's presence. You begin to fight it and resist it and tell the anxious spirit "leave me alone! "You cannot be in this place with me and God because I don't want this perfect moment to ever Go Away. Leave me alone!"
This story was a story about a peaceful place you can create and retreat to in your thoughts when fear or thoughts of worry arise. It becomes a real experience if you feel it and believe it Tina. God is an inner experience and you are creating this experience by choosing peace over fear. We have to fight off fears and anxious thoughts, they will not go on their own. they are there to prevent our happiness, but only if we let them.
