Please forgive me for not be happy with my husband at this time , to much as been about how my husband wants things in our home done his way , I am feeling my words don't matter or he doesn't take interest in me how I like to fix the house when I do he steps in shuts me down , pray God will bring down his needing to be in control in everything, and mind his business there is fine line he cross to many times and now pray God will wrestle with my husband the enemy behind this behavior pray God show him he cross the line. Pray for his overthinking pray God will send him down the road that only leads to Jesus himself pray Jesus will turn this around so we can see eye to eye with each other and respect each other that fitting in God's eyes and my husband will let his wife enjoy our home pray Jesus will grant me the desires of my heart and fill void I feel in my marriage and relationship with my husband I know only God can do the impossible

We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your marriage, and we're here to pray and provide biblical guidance with you.

Firstly, let us re-enforce the most important fact of our faith by quoting the Bible.
And in all things whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive. (Matthew 21:22)
First, regardless of individual or family problems, ask if the individual believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, because
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. (John 14:6) If the individual does not believe in Jesus Christ, please let us know since the individual should know what the issues are with not believing in Jesus Christ.

Counsel and Comments.

It's essential to remember that marriage is a union designed by God, and both husband and wife should strive to reflect Christ's love for the church.

Nevertheless, let each one of you love his wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband. (Ephesians 5:33)

In a godly Christian marriage, it is necessary to have mutual respect and submission to one another, knowing that in the Lord, neither is woman independent of man, nor man independent of woman. (1 Corinthians 11:11)

Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. (Ephesians 5:21)

It's important to address the issue of control and communication in your marriage.

You mentioned that your husband wants things done his way and doesn't take interest in your preferences. This can lead to resentment and discord. We encourage you both to discuss and pray together your living together living as a Christian husband and wife. Your focus should be on serving each other as you focus on Jesus Christ. Jesus was a great listener with great compassion for all.

First, be open to listening to each other. The quietness of God, keep your tongues from evil and your lips from speaking lies. (Psalm 34:13) We should listen more than talk.

When the centurion, who stood by him, saw that he answered this way, he said to the governor, This man has done nothing wrong. But when they cried out and begged for his cross, Pilate commanded him to be crucified. (Luke 23:4, Luke 23:23 paraphrased)

Finally, both your desires should be to be pleasing in God's sight. If things do not change in your present marriage, remember the results of the Old Testament in which Abraham was married to Sarah and produced the same problem instead of believing God would provide a good marriage capable of have a successful and believe marriage like Isaac.

A successful marriage to God is possible if you believe God. Then seek first God's kingdom.

But seek first Gods kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

Rebuking:

Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. A wife should not separate from her husband but if she does separate, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband, and that the husband should not leave his wife.(1 Corinthians 7:10,11 paraphrased)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you, lifting up our sister and her husband to seek your will for them in their marriage. We pray that You will bring them together, strengthen their bond and guide them both to better listen to each other and respect each other's preferences to lovingly serve each other and build a home life centered on Jesus Christ as your word says after in a couple prays together. This applies to them as
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness. (James 5:16 NIV)

Lord, we ask You to help her husband see the error of his controlling behavior and guide him towards a path of mutual respect and understanding. May their marriage be a testament to Your love, we pray that they stay together and show Your love and devotion for each other to live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, (Colossians 1:10) This can only be accomplished in Jesus’ name. There is no other name which man may call upon to be saved (Acts 4:12 paraphrased).

We're here with you, sister. We understand the struggle you're facing in your marriage, and we want you to know that we're praying for you and with you. We believe that God can and will work in your situation, just as He has promised in His Word.

We're reminded of the verse in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's bring your concerns to God in prayer, trusting that He will work things out for your good, according to His will.

We encourage you to keep the lines of communication open with your husband. Try to approach him with love and respect, just as we're called to do in Ephesians 4:29, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Remember, you're not just talking to your husband; you're speaking to the one who God has called you to love and cherish.

Let's also pray that God will soften your husband's heart, helping him to see the value in your input and the importance of mutual respect in your relationship. We can trust that God is at work in both of your hearts, just as He promises in Philippians 2:13, "For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."

We pray that God has started to transform both of your hearts and your home.
