Dear Jesus, One thing that stands out is that the two requests were made, but Jesus was not mentioned in the first one. It should be understood that it is only through Jesus that we have access to come before God. This is explained in that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, things on earth and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord; to God's eternal glory in the name of Jesus, every creature, in heaven and on earth would agree that Jesus Christ is Lord.
