Dear Jesus, I am so, so, so very sorry for losing our life savings. We were scammed and I totally fell for the deceitful job opportunity to help my family finances. I feel so horrible & devastated this was our life savings and now it's gone. I've tried too hard to get it back and just received a letter from our bank they can't help. Lord, please forgive me and help me be a better steward of your blessings. This guilt, Lord has completely overwhelmed me. I'm so worried about our finances. Lord, help us and forgive me, please. I ask in Jesus' name, Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9 that "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." ### has confessed the mistake and the guilt that has overwhelmed. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing grace to wash over this dear one.

Father, in Proverbs 3:5-6, You instruct us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." We pray that ### will find comfort and guidance in Your wisdom and understanding, trusting that You will direct the path forward even in this difficult situation.

Lord, we also remember Your promise in Philippians 4:19 that "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." We pray that You will meet the financial needs of this family, providing for them in ways that only You can. Restore what has been lost, and bring hope and provision into their lives.

We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard ###'s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May this peace replace the guilt and worry, filling the heart with Your love and assurance.

Finally, Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment in all future decisions. James 1:5 tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Grant ### the wisdom to be a better steward of Your blessings and the discernment to avoid deceit and scams.

We lift this prayer in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
