Dear heavenly Lord,
We come before you today on behalf of ### and her family. Lord, we lift up this situation of domestic violence and emotional abuse that ### is facing from her husband. We pray for your divine intervention and protection over her life.
Lord, you are a God of love and peace. Your Word tells us in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." We ask that you touch the heart of ###'s husband, convict him of his actions, and bring about a transformation in his behavior. Help him to understand the gravity of his actions and the pain he is causing to his wife and family.
Lord, we pray for ###'s strength and courage during this difficult time. Surround her with your love and peace, and grant her the wisdom to know how to protect herself and seek help. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made in your image, and that her life has great value and purpose.
We rebuke the spirit of suicide that is tormenting ###'s mind. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Lord, be close to ### in her brokenness and save her from the depths of despair. Surround her with your love and give her hope for a better future.
We also pray for the support and guidance of trusted individuals and organizations who can provide assistance to ### and her family. May she find the help she needs to escape this abusive situation and find safety.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are a God who hears our prayers and is able to bring healing and restoration. Amen.
