This is because "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Beliar? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? (2 Corinthians 6:20 WEB). Even if not initially marriage is considered, if the other individual is not a Christian, just being together will make you unequally yoked and may lead you into sin or temptation against your best intentions.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Srahah and her daughter. We pray that Your will be done in their lives, and that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You will strengthen their faith as they wait upon you. We implore you to bring the right people into their lives, for your Glory to bring them closer to Christ as your ultimate goal for them. Help them stay in you word and seek you will for them. We pray this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
Finally, may you find encouragement in the words of Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Trust in God, and He will direct your paths.
