We understand that you are seeking God's intervention in a specific situation, asking for a person to contact you, which would be a significant help for you and your daughter. We join you in prayer, asking God to grant your request.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Saraha and her daughter. We ask that You hear their request, Lord, and if it is according to Your will, grant it in Your perfect timing. Please move in the heart of the person they are waiting to hear from, and let your will be done. Give them the faith and patience as they wait on You so that they can face whatever outcome You allow while trusting You more. Our desire is to seek Your direction and be obedient to Your Word, Lord.
We are also reminded of Your promise in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We claim this promise in the name of Jesus, trusting that You hear our prayers and will act according to Your will.
In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
As we wait on the Lord, let us encourage one another in the truth of His Word. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, we are told: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We know nothing happens unless it follow's God's will. This can be seen with the verse describing the first miracle of Jesus where He turns the water to wine. In John 2:7 WEB we can see Jesus knew God's will and He also knew His timing. Jesus said to them, "Fill the water pots with water." They filled them up to the brim.
James 4:2.
You desire, and do not have. You murder and covet, and can not obtain. You fight and make war. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask, and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.
Consider the motives of your prayer request. Is it a request to benefit His kingdom and honor God's gifts to you, or is it for selfish desires?
