Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your divine intervention for our country. We acknowledge that we cannot navigate these turbulent times without Your guidance and peace. Your Word reminds us in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Lord, we humbly ask for Your forgiveness and healing for our nation.
Father, we pray for our leaders, that they may seek wisdom and discernment from You in every decision they make. As it says in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Guide their hearts and minds toward righteousness and justice.
We also lift up our fellow citizens, asking that You instill in each of us a spirit of unity and love. Help us to love our neighbors as ourselves, as You have commanded us in Your Word. Grant us the peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 says, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we place our trust in You, knowing that You are sovereign over all things. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
