Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up George in prayer. Lord, Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here!" We ask that You transform George into a new creation in Christ. Break the chains of addiction to alcohol and smoking, and remove the spirit of deceit and gossip from his life.
Father, Your Word in James 4:7 instructs us to "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that George submits himself fully to You, resisting every evil force that seeks to control him. Grant him the strength and courage to turn away from these destructive behaviors and attitudes.
In John 8:36, it is written, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We claim this promise for George, asking that Your Son, Jesus Christ, sets him free from all that binds him. Let George become a blessing to his family, reflecting Your love, grace, and truth in all his actions.
Lord, we trust in Your power to bring about this transformation. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
