Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with ###'s humble and sincere prayer, seeking Your forgiveness and mercy. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We stand on this promise, knowing that Your grace is sufficient and Your love is unfailing.
Lord, we ask that You wash away any sin of idolatry or blasphemy that may have been committed. Cleanse ### with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, as it is written in Isaiah 1:18, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool."
Father, grant ### a heart that seeks after You and desires to worship You alone. Help this soul to turn away from anything that takes Your place in their life, and to honor Your name in all that is said and done. We trust in Your mercy and forgiveness, as declared in Psalm 103:12, "As far as the east is from the west, so far does He remove our transgressions from us."
Thank You, Lord, for hearing this prayer and for the assurance that You are a forgiving and loving God. We pray all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
