We understand the gravity of your situation and we want to lift you up in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to commend you for coming to the Father in prayer, acknowledging the power of Jesus' name. It's only through Him that we can approach God, as it's written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB)
However, we must address the underlying issue here. It seems that there may have been a sexual relationship outside of marriage, which God's Word clearly speaks against. "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness," (Galatians 5:19, WEB) and "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." (Hebrews 13:4, WEB)
We must repent and turn away from these actions, seeking God's forgiveness and mercy. We pray that you both would find mercy and forgiveness, and that this situation would lead to repentance and a commitment to purity and holiness.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness. We ask that You would have mercy on this situation, and that Your will be done. We pray for a spirit of repentance and a commitment to purity. We ask that You would guide and direct the path of both individuals, that they may walk in Your ways and honor You in their lives. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen."
We encourage you to trust in God's plan for your lives, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time.
