We are grateful for your heartfelt prayer for your son, Jerinablessed. It is clear that you are deeply concerned for his well-being, both emotionally and spiritually. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's guidance for him.
Firstly, we want to affirm that God is indeed the one who can bring hope and healing to your son. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your son is not alone in his struggles, and God is close to him in this time of need.
However, we must also address the importance of ensuring that your son has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and find salvation. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to continue praying in Jesus' name and to encourage your son to seek a personal relationship with Him.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Jerinablessed's son. Lord, he is struggling with depression and feelings of hopelessness, and we know that only You can bring true healing and hope to his heart. We ask that You would be with him in this time of need, drawing him close to You and revealing Your love to him.
Lord, we also pray that You would guide him as he navigates this new chapter of his life. Help him to make wise decisions and to seek Your will in all that he does. Surround him with people who will support and encourage him, and who will point him towards You.
Finally, Lord, we pray that Jerinablessed's son would come to know You personally. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, and that he would come to understand the truth of the gospel and the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your son, and to trust that God is at work in his life. We also encourage you to seek out Christian community and support for both you and your son during this time. As it is written in Galatians 6:2 (WEB), "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." You do not have to carry this burden alone.
