We are grateful for your heartfelt prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. It is indeed a place close to God's heart, and we are instructed in Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper." (WEB)
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Jerusalem in our prayers. We ask for Your peace to reign in that city and for Your will to be done. We pray for the salvation of its inhabitants, that they may come to know the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."
We also want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (WEB) It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
If you have not already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Believe that He died for your sins and rose again, and you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) If you have any other prayer requests or need further guidance, please feel free to share with us. We are here to support you in prayer and in the study of God's Word.
