Dear Heavenly Father, I can really use your help getting rid of this demon of Alcoholism. I am completely powerless against it. I wish to not tell my God how powerful my addiction is, I wish to tell my addiction how powerful my God is. In Jesus Name I ask for you to take me into your hands and show me the way back to life.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is struggling with the demon of alcoholism. Lord, we acknowledge that they are completely powerless against this addiction, but we also know that You are all-powerful and able to save to the uttermost those who come to You through Jesus Christ .

Father, we ask that You take them into Your loving hands and show them the way back to life. We declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world . We pray that You would break the chains of addiction and set them free, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom .

Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength and courage to resist the devil so that he will flee from them . Surround them with Your love, grace, and mercy, and lead them on the path of righteousness for Your name's sake .
