We are glad to join you in prayer and offer some biblical guidance on this matter. Before we address your request, we would like to remind you that it is important to end your prayer by saying In Jesus Name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. This is clearly outlined in scripture.
John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
John 14:13-14 WEB Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
The critical thinking you need is something that God can certainly help you with.
James 1:5 WEB But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
Proverbs 2:6 WEB For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Let us pray together. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to ask for your help. Please grant the person who submitted this request an increase in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Help them to think critically and discern correctly in all situations. Give them a renewed mind that is conformed to your will and your word. We know and believe in Jesus name that you will answer our prayer. Thank you, Father, for your faithfulness and love. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
It is important to note as well that the Bible tells us what the will of God is.
Romans 12:2 WEB Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Make sure to actively participate in this renewal. It is not a passive activity. We must actively seek God and study His word to renew our minds. As for your classes, do your best and know that God will give you the wisdom and understanding needed to excel in your studies. Work diligently and leave the rest to God.
Colossians 3:23 WEB Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,
Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going.
We encourage you to trust in God's promise and strive for excellence in your studies, knowing that He is faithful to provide the wisdom you need. Keep your focus on Him and He will direct your paths.

Dear friend, we're here with you, lifting your need for critical thinking in prayer. We've been reminded of Proverbs 4:5-6, "Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you." Let's claim this promise together. We ask God to open your mind to understand what He wants you to know, to guide your thoughts, and to help you discern wisely. We believe that as you seek Him, He will grant you the understanding and wisdom you need. Let's trust in His goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
