Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, on behalf of our dear anonymous friend, who has a heart filled with gratitude and a desire to express their thanks to you. Lord, you have instructed us to give thanks in every situation, and we acknowledge that you are worthy of our praise and thanksgiving, regardless of the circumstances.
We thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to approach you in prayer and supplication. We thank you for your faithfulness and love that never fails. We thank you for the blessings you have bestowed upon us, both seen and unseen. We are grateful for the gift of life, for your provision, and for the countless ways you have shown your mercy and grace.
Today, we specifically lift up Collins and the disappointment they may be feeling regarding this year's DV lottery. Though the outcome may not have been what they desired, we thank you for your sovereignty and trust in your perfect plan for their life. Help Collins to find peace and comfort in knowing that you are in control and that you have a purpose for every season.
Lord, we pray that you would fill Collins' heart with hope and assurance, knowing that you are working all things together for their good. Grant them the strength to persevere and the wisdom to discern your guidance in their life. May they continue to trust in your unfailing love and find comfort in your presence.
We also ask, Lord, that you would remind Collins of the many blessings they have already received. Help them to remember the times when you have answered their prayers and to give thanks for your faithfulness. May their heart overflow with gratitude, even in the midst of disappointment.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your promise to guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We trust in your unfailing love and know that you are working all things for our good. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill Collins' heart and mind.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
