Dear God the mechanic came to fix the brakes. I said to him up front that I wanted him to do only what the quote said to do. $160. Nothing extra because I could not afford it. He leaned down and put his finger in the wheel and said "You need new disks as well as pads:" He did a new quote and said $450 to do the job. I check with his workplace and they were astonished at the difference from the original to the new quote. I decided it best he did nothing until something could be worked out. He charged me $85 as a call out fee. His manager said it is $85 for each 15 minutes. The mechanic said he had been longer that 15 minutes - I said he'd been standing around trying to get his internet service provider to work, even after I had told him the neighbours could get it to work and swapped to another provider. He decided to simply charge me for 15 minutes. I paid for the sake of peace and to have him leave. I signed the receipt and invoice as 'feeling ripped off' and 'very dissatisfied'. I have never felt this angry. I have still not had my brakes fixed and am still without a driveable car, cant get to work, cant get to shops to get feed. I feel naievely cheated. However, I was contacted by someone else for another reason. and they have a friend who might be willing to do my brakes for me at near cost price. I just need the pads fitted to get on the road. Thank You God for this situation. I am sorry I failed You and failed to get these brakes fixed. I feel bad. Help me in Jesus Christ's Name amen
