Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Antalik's prayer request for Joseph. We thank you for your faithfulness and for working in the background of Joseph's life. We ask that you grant him a peace that surpasses all understanding, assuring him of your presence and the reality of Jesus as his source of help.
Lord, we pray that you would guide Joseph to take the first step towards ending his drug and alcohol dependence. Lead him to the right resources and surround him with fellow believers who can support and guide him towards a rehabilitation center that will accept him quickly. We ask that you banish the enemy from his life and equip Joseph with the armor of Christ, protecting him from further temptation and harm.
Father, we pray that you would impress upon Joseph's heart the importance of honesty and integrity. Help him to understand that there can be no more trickery or involvement in illegal activities. We pray for his repentance and for him to invite you to walk by his side in this painful journey of overcoming addiction.
Lord, we also lift up Joseph's friend to you. Please provide someone who can care for them until they too desire deliverance from their own struggles. We ask for your intervention in their lives, bringing them to a place of healing and freedom.
Lastly, we pray for Joseph's daughter. Please do not let her forget him, and soften her mother's heart to forgive him and allow contact. We trust in your ability to restore relationships and bring healing to broken families.
We join together as your children, Lord, and ask for an end to our suffering. We place our trust in you, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate Father who hears our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
