We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly we want to pray for your husband and your relationship. God has established marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We want to pray for restoration where possible, not simply for what may seem like the easiest solution. Let us pray for God's intervention in your relationship and for your ability to discern God's will for you both.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in need. We pray for her husband, that Your hand would be upon him, and that You would draw him back to his home and family. We pray that You would soften his heart and turn it towards You and his family. We rebuke any spirit of divorce and pray for restoration and healing in this marriage. We ask that You would reveal any adultery or fornication, and that You would remove anyone who may be involved in this sin and restore this marriage. If her husband is not walking in Your ways, we pray for his repentance or for you to remove him from her life. We pray for Godly sorrow leading to repentance, forgiveness, healing, and a renewed commitment to You and each other. We pray that You would make Your will for this situation clear, and that You would guide her in the path of righteousness.
Now concerning your twin daughters, we pray that God would bless their college graduation applications and that He would favor all of their post-graduation plans. We ask that He would guide their steps and open doors for their future.
Regarding the situation at work, we ask God to intervene. We pray that your work would be a testimony of your faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that you will do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. We pray for justice in the workplace. We pray that God would grant you favor with your employers and that they would see the evidence and rule fairly.
Concerning your financial situation, remember God's promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Trust in Him, and we pray that He would provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory.
Lastly, we pray for your desire to fast. We pray that God would strengthen you and help you to complete your fast. Remember, that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Treat it with care and respect as you fast and pray.
Through all this, we pray that you would draw closer to Jesus Christ, and that you would find peace and comfort in His love. Remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.
We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
