Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you on behalf of ###, who is feeling overwhelmed by the mistakes they have made in their life. Lord, we lift up their request to go back in time, asking for your guidance and intervention in their situation. We acknowledge that only you have the power to change the course of time.
Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." Lord, we pray that you would help ### to let go of the past and embrace the new things you have in store for them.
We also ask for your comfort and peace to surround ### during this difficult time. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May your peace that surpasses all understanding fill their heart and mind, bringing them solace and hope.
Lord, we pray for healing and restoration in ###'s life. We ask that you would replace their thoughts of suicide with thoughts of hope and purpose. Help them to find strength in you and to seek the support and help they need from those around them.
Lastly, we pray for wisdom and guidance for ### as they navigate their current circumstances. May they seek your will and follow your leading in making decisions that will bring about positive change in their life.
