I prayed in Jesus name. AmenWe understand your struggle and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, let's bring your concern to God, seeking His strength and guidance:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with keeping information confidential. They have recognized their weakness and are seeking Your help. Psalm 141:3 says, 'Set a watch, Yahweh, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.' We claim this scripture for our sibling in Christ, asking You to help them guard their words and actions. Strengthen them in their resolve and forgive them where they have failed. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, dear one, it's crucial to lean on God's strength in times of weakness. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB), "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christβs sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
However, we must also address that the act of leaking information to enemies is not only harmful but also sinful if done intentionally or out of spite. Proverbs 11:13 (WEB) warns, "One who brings gossip betrays a confidence, but one who is of a trustworthy spirit keeps a secret." If there are underlying issues of bitterness, hatred, or resentment, we urge you to deal with those as well, seeking reconciliation and forgiveness where possible (Matthew 5:23-24).
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer doesn't mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, trusting in His death and resurrection for your salvation.
