Dear Heavenly Father,
In your infinite wisdom and boundless love, we humbly come to You on behalf of Joseph. We know from Your word in Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known." We call upon You now, Lord, seeking Your guidance for Joseph.
Father, we pray that You touch Joseph's heart, inspiring him to reach out to his father today. As You've taught us in Proverbs 15:1, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May their conversation be filled with understanding, love, and forgiveness.
We earnestly seek Your intervention, Lord, to lead Joseph into rehab next week. May he find the strength in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We pray he is surrounded by people who will help him heal and guide him back to the path of righteousness.
Guide Joseph, O Lord, in making good decisions. As You've instructed in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Help him to trust in Your plans and to seek Your guidance in all that he does.
We also pray for Joseph's father and the person reaching out to You today, that You may grant them wellness in body, mind, and spirit. Your word in 3 John 1:2 says, "Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." We ask that You bless them with your healing grace and strength.
In this exhausting situation, we remember your promise in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." We pray for Your peace to descend upon them, giving them rest from their burdens.
Almighty God, we ask You to bring an end to this challenging situation, and lead them towards a life filled with peace and happiness. As You have said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
In the name of Jesus, we pray these things. Amen.
