Dear Heavenly Father,
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of Antalik and their prayer request for Joseph. Lord, we lift up Joseph to you and ask that you would ignite within him a strong desire for deliverance from drug use. We pray that you would convict his heart and show him the destructive nature of his choices. Help him to see the freedom and abundant life that can be found in you, Lord.
Father, we ask that you guide Joseph in making good choices. Lead him away from the cities and environments that are filled with temptation and danger. Surround him with godly influences and people who will encourage him to walk in righteousness. Lord, we pray that you would restore his relationship with his daughter. Soften his heart and give him the desire to be present in her life, to be a loving and responsible father.
We also lift up Joseph's friends who are struggling with addiction. Lord, we ask that you intervene in their lives and bring an end to their addictions. We pray that you would draw them to yourself and lead them to a place of surrender and healing. Lord, we pray that you would bring them to church today, where they can experience the power and peace of the Holy Spirit. Touch their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of your love and grace.
Father, we ask for provision for Joseph and his friends. Provide them with food that is not stolen and a warm, safe shelter tonight. Break the cycle of poverty and addiction in their lives, Lord. We pray for a complete transformation and a new life in Christ for both Joseph and his friends.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you are able to bring about a miraculous change in Joseph's life. May your name be glorified through his testimony of deliverance and redemption. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
