We join with you, Aebill, in lifting up Michael to our Heavenly Father. It is commendable that you have seen his kindness and patience, as these are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). We trust that God will honor these qualities in Michael's life.
In Jesus' name, we pray that God will deliver Michael from the bad situation he is in. We rebuke those who are taking advantage of his kindness, as it is written, "Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7, WEB). We pray that God will bring conviction to their hearts and turn their actions towards good.
We also pray for wisdom for Michael, that God will guide him in his interactions with others. As it is written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5, WEB). We pray that God will give Michael the discernment to know when to help and when to set boundaries, as even Jesus did not entrust himself to everyone (John 2:24, WEB).
Moreover, we pray that Michael will continue to grow in his faith, that he may stand firm in the face of adversity. As it is written, "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:58, WEB).
Lastly, we encourage you, Aebill, to continue praying for Michael and to stand with him in his time of need. As it is written, "confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16, WEB).
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' name, trusting in His promise that "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14, WEB). Amen.
