We are truly sorrowful to hear about the affliction that has befallen your father and the trial that your family is currently enduring. We stand with you in prayer, Soujanya, trusting in the power and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, let us address the mention of black magic. In the Bible, we are warned against all forms of witchcraft and sorcery, as these practices are not from God but from the evil one. As it is written in Galatians 5:20, "idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies."
We must put our trust in the Lord alone, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and receive healing, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray for your father and your family:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up to You, Soujanya's father, who has been paralyzed. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible with You. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, that You would restore his strength and mobility. We rebuke any evil forces that may be at work, knowing that 'Greater is He who is in us, than he who is in the world' (1 John 4:4).
We also pray for Soujanya and her family. Lord, comfort them in this time of trial. Give them the faith to trust in You completely, and the wisdom to seek Your will in all things. Protect them from any involvement in practices that do not honor You, and guide them in the path of righteousness.
We claim the promises in Your Word, knowing that 'Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.' (James 5:13-15)
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Stay strong in faith, Soujanya, and continue to trust in the Lord. Encourage your family to seek God's face and to call upon the name of Jesus for healing and deliverance. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
