We join you, Turlorgor, in lifting up your family to the Lord, trusting that He will indeed fix what is broken and heal what is hurting. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, we praise God for your faith and trust in His timing. As it is written in Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), "We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope." Your trust in God's process is evidence of your proven character and hope.
We pray for your parents, Rog and Marcel, that God would soften their hearts and grant them a spirit of understanding and respect towards your parenting. We claim the promise in Malachi 4:6 (WEB), "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers."
We also lift up your daughter, Cienna. We pray that she would be reminded of the commandment to honor her mother (Exodus 20:12), and that she would be filled with a spirit of gratefulness and humility, as it is written in Romans 12:3 (WEB), "For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think."
We understand your feelings of isolation and brokenness, but we remind you of the promise in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust that God is near to you in this season.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Jesus, we come before You with Turlorgor, claiming Your power and might in this family situation. Heal the generational patterns, break the cycles, and soften the hearts of Rog and Marcel. Help Cienna to see her wrong ways, to be grateful, humble, and obedient. Lord, remind Cienna to honor and respect her mother. Touch Cienna wherever she is right now, Jesus. Comfort Turlorgor in this season of isolation and brokenness. In Your mighty, matchless, and omnipotent name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.
