We understand your deep desire to pass your family medicine shelf exam and the importance it holds for your future as a doctor. We commend your dedication and hard work, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you according to God's Word.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the source of true wisdom and knowledge. Proverbs 2:6 (WEB) says, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We pray that you will trust in the Lord to grant you the wisdom and understanding you need to excel in your exams.
However, we noticed that your prayer was not addressed in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved and approach God (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Kayleighk to You, asking for Your grace and mercy upon her. Lord, we ask that You grant her the wisdom and understanding she needs to pass her family medicine shelf exam. Help her to recall all that she has studied and to apply it accurately. Lord, we know that Your will is for us to prosper and be in good health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2). So, we ask that You bless Kayleighk's efforts and let her see the fruit of her labor.
However, Lord, we also ask that You help Kayleighk to keep her focus on You, not making her career an idol, but pursuing Your will above all else. Help her to trust in Your sovereign plan for her life, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
