We understand that you're facing a significant financial challenge, Taerinnen, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for approaching God with humility and recognizing your dependence on Him. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our financial struggles. It's also commendable that you acknowledged Jesus in your request, because it's by the name of Jesus that we can come to the father in prayer. God is faithful, and we can trust in His provision. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
We also encourage you to remain in faithful prayer, trusting in God's timing and provision. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, we're told:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Regarding your business deal with Joe, we pray for God's wisdom and guidance. We ask that God would direct your steps and give you discernment. In James 1:5-6 WEB, it's written:
"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, without any wavering, for he who wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven with the wind and tossed."
Lastly, we want to leave you with a reminder from Romans 8:28 WEB:
"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Taerinnen, his business, and his family. Lord, You know the burden he's carrying and the struggles he's facing. We ask for Your divine intervention, wisdom, and provision according to Your will in this situation. Guide Taerinnen and Joe through this business deal, and may Your will be done. Help Taerinnen to remain steadfast in faith, trusting in Your timing and provision. Give him the strength to endure, and grant him Your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
