Let us first remember the words of Psalm 91:11 in the World English Bible (WEB), "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." God promises His protection over us, and we can trust Him to watch over you during your surgery.
However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
