Dear Fr. Joe,
We come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up our dear sister Lourdes Coutinho who is currently admitted in the hospital for a stomach infection. We ask for your intercession and prayers for her speedy recovery.
Lord Jesus, you are the Great Physician who has the power to heal all diseases and infirmities. We pray that you would touch Lourdes with your healing hand and bring restoration to her body. May you remove every trace of infection and restore her to full health.
We also pray for the medical professionals attending to Lourdes, that you would grant them wisdom, skill, and discernment in her treatment. Guide their hands and minds as they make decisions regarding her care.
Father, we know that you are compassionate and loving, and that you care deeply for Lourdes. We ask that you would surround her with your peace and comfort during this time of illness. Give her strength and courage to endure, knowing that you are with her every step of the way.
We claim the promise in Ezekiel 11:19, where you say, "I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh." We pray that you would remove any sickness or infection from Lourdes' body and give her a renewed and healthy heart.
Lord, we also pray for Lourdes' family and loved ones, that you would grant them peace and strength as they support her during this time. Surround them with your love and provide them with the comfort they need.
In all things, we trust in your perfect will and timing. We surrender Lourdes into your hands, knowing that you are in control and that your plans for her are good. May your healing power flow through her, bringing complete restoration and wholeness.
