Servant of All
Dear Father, Be with my beloved son as he takes his exam this afternoon at 2:00. Give him confidence. Quiet his nerves and the voices in his head that say he can't do it. Help him to overcome the voice of the enemy and listen to your Holy Spirit as he answers the questions. Give him endurance and a focused mind. Help him, Lord. This could make the difference as to whether he gets to pursue his dream of medical school. Overcome the ADHD and give him a sound and careful mind. Give him attention to detail. Help him to pick the correct answer on multiple choice and to solve the problems that are free response questions. Give him a quiet classroom in which to take the test. Help him to leave all of his stress at the door. Help him to know that he is mentally prepared. Lord, make a way where he can make a good grade and where he does not have to drop this fundamental class. Help him not to panic and jump to what he perceives would be an easy solution but would have lasting ramifications. Help his professor to have compassion on her students and to give them the benefit of the doubt. Help her to be a better professor in that she actually teaches the material covered, and where she does not put trick questions on the exam that were not covered in class. I raise these things up to you. I give you the anxiety I feel over this moment and ask that you would vindicate my son and give him your grace to be able to succeed. I know this is not possible without your divine intervention. My eyes look to you to solve this issue, so that we do not have to pay for an extra semester of school and so that my son is not eliminated from his chosen career path. I trust you, Lord, as the One who can perform miracles even in this situation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
