Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, Greetings to all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are the staff of Broadwell Christian Hospital, Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, would like to request that you kindly pray for us. Since 14 th April' 22 along with many other people of Christian Community we hospital staff are being targeted and harassed by some fanatic group of people which is affecting us mentally, emotionally and physically as well as in our job/ employment. Without any evidence the fanatic group people are labelling false allegations of religious conversion on us. Among us, some people are our colleagues who hail from different parts of India are here at Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh to work in the Christian Mission Hospital and earn our living through it. Being of Christian faith and community, we all used to go to the nearby registered Church name ‘ECI–Evangelical Church of India’ at Hariharganj, Fatehpur for worshiping on Sundays and also during any Christian festival. But on 14-04-2022 at around 6:00-7:00pm on the eve of Good Friday when we along with 55-60 other Christian people were praying and worshiping at ECI Church like every year we use to do, a group of 150-200 unknown people with sticks and stones gathered, led by Himanshu Dixit with Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, RSS and BJP parties people locked us inside the Church. They started shouting and alleging us for religious conversion and encouraging the mob gathered by them to lynch all the people inside the Church. They all started chanting 'religious' as well as ‘boycott Christianity & Christians’ slogans. The above-mentioned people started encouraging the mob to burn the Church and all of us including children and elderly people who are locked inside by them. Finally, after an hour Fatehpur’s SDM, CO City and SHO along with his Policemen arrived to handle the situation. Mob forced Authorities/ Officials to take our Aadhar ID details. Police said that they will drop us to our homes in their vehicles in groups to save us from the mob. So, we all believed and followed the instructions but the Police took all of us (including women, children and elderly men & women who were diabetics and with various other physical morbidities) to Fatehpur’s Kotwali Police Station. All were kept in inhumane condition at Kotwali Station. After 2-3 Page 2of 3 hours around midnight Police released women and children only, but kept all the male people inside the Kotwali Station forcibly. When we asked the SHO/ Policemen without any warrant why we were being detained and treated like criminals, he/ they told and promised us that we will be released by tomorrow morning after some formalities. Himanshu Dikshit and his group n#39;s people even threatened SHO & other Policemen and forcibly instructed them to keep us in Kotwali Station till evening. Intentionally such a situation & delayed was done so that somehow after Challan we can be sent to Jail even though no evidence was found on the spot against us. SHO/ Policemen were under pressure from Himanshu Dixit and his group of people was clearly visible as they were planning to lodge a written complaint against us and later, they did so. On 15-04-2022, a false FIR has been registered in Kotwali Police Station Fatehpur bearing FIR No.-0224/2022 u/s 153A, 420, 467, 468, 506 IPC and 3/5(1) UP PUCRA alleging religious conversion along with other false charges was filed against us (35 named & 20 unknown persons). SHO refused to register our request for the Counter FIR. We 17 people were sent to Jail including Pastor. Next day bail was guaranteed by the honorable District Court to 17 of us (people) only. All these people who are against Christians & Christianity are filing multiple false FIR against us. We request you all to pray for us. We are suffering a lot because of this situation of persecution. The Recent update on 12 th May 2024 is Final hearing in the Supreme Court. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We come before you today with a heavy heart, seeking your prayers and intercession on behalf of our dear brothers and sisters at Broadwell Christian Hospital in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. They have been facing targeted harassment and false allegations of religious conversion by a fanatic group of people. This has caused immense mental, emotional, and physical distress, affecting their well-being and employment.

Lord Jesus, we lift up our brothers and sisters to You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength in times of trouble. We pray for Your divine protection and deliverance from the hands of those who seek to harm them unjustly. Your Word assures us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and we claim this promise over our dear brothers and sisters at Broadwell Christian Hospital.

We pray for peace to reign in their hearts and minds, that they may find comfort and strength in Your presence. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. Grant them wisdom and discernment to navigate through these challenging circumstances.

Father, we also pray for the perpetrators of these acts of harassment and false accusations. We ask that You would touch their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. May they come to know Your love and experience a transformation that leads them away from hatred and violence.

We pray for the authorities and law enforcement involved in this situation. Grant them wisdom, courage, and discernment to uphold justice and protect the innocent. May they act swiftly and justly to bring an end to this persecution.

Lord, we remember the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 3:1, where he requested prayer for deliverance from unreasonable and wicked men. We join our prayers with his, asking for deliverance for our brothers and sisters at Broadwell Christian Hospital. May they be freed from the oppression and harassment they are facing.

In the name of Jesus, we declare victory over this situation. We trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness, knowing that You are able to turn the hearts of men and bring about justice. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, Lord, and let Your light shine through them even in the midst of adversity.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your name be glorified through the resolution of this situation, and may Your peace and love prevail in the hearts of all involved.
