Beloved
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. We are instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 to “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.†So please let us rejoice and pray. Praise the Lord! John was located sometime earlier today. He seems to be okay. He has agreed to go into rehab. Ask God to help him beat his addictions. Pray for his family too. Please pray for Chris. He’s having a difficult time understanding some insurance questions he needs to answer. Please pray for Ron our new sheriff. He’s got a lot to do and deal with. There is a serious drug problem in our community that needs to be dealt with immediately. Please pray for Kevin. He did something that could have cost a number of people their lives today. Please ask God to help him to realize how foolish his decision was and help him, and that God’s Will would be done in his life and the lives of his family members. Pray for Rachelle who recently plead guilty to a felony heroin possession charge. Please pray for my old friend Bob. He was in the hospital after experiencing some heart problems. Please pray for my cousin Robert who is experiencing some undisclosed health issues. Please pray for James’ mom and dad. They were both hospitalized yesterday and diagnosed with pneumonia. Please pray for Kevin. He’s a politician. Please ask God to guide him in a way that benefits the folks he represents. Please continue praying for Tom who is in the hospital. Please pray for Eric. He received some stab wounds Sunday and is in stable condition. Please pray for Vic. He’s in jail for stabbing Eric. Please pray for Elaine. Ask our Heavenly Father to help her work through whatever it was that was making her so mad. Please continue praying for the family of the toddler who was recently struck by a car and killed in Santa Ana. Please pray for the driver and the babysitter too. Please keep praying for Katie and her family. They survived a horrible house fire not too long ago and lost everything. Please keep praying for Justin and his family. I don’t know if he has gotten his new kidney yet. Please pray also for Dreu and her children Liz, Beka, Sarah, and David. She’s going through the wringer (physically and emotionally). God knows the story. Pray for her daughter Liz too. Liz just got out of prison and will need plenty of help adjusting to life outside of her cell. Please pray for the situation between my son Josh, my granddaughter Danielle, Josh’s girlfriend Brianna and her child, and my mom Doris. Suffice it to say the situation is getting better. God knows all of the details. Ask Him to perform a miracle in all of their lives. While we’re praying please hold my family and extended family up in prayer, especially Howard, Clara, Miguel, Myrna, Glenda, Sean, Cort, Kymmie, Shannon, Josh, Danielle, Debbie, Janet, Jeffrey, Virginia, Mary Grace, Bridgette, Bradley, Candice, Chris, Harry, Marsha, Chris, Katie, Robert, Laurie; Doris, Tom, Laura, Kenny, Chelsey, Marsha, John, Suzan, Angela, Eden, Lily, Dionne, Ron, Dick, Barbara, Julie, Bruce, Paul, Wendy, Amy, Sue, Judy, Richie, Shari, Darlene, Scott, Marcia, Millicent, Cindy, Cathy, and Susie. Please pray for their family members, friends, and loved ones too. Some may be Born Again. God knows all of their hearts and need. Please pray for me too. I’m concerned about my livelihood. I’m still overweight and not exercising too much. I have some growing vision and dental issues that need fixing. Years of drug and alcohol abuse, plus one-too many concussions have contributed to a variety of emotional, psychological, and physiological issues I’m just beginning to see that I will have to deal with. I’m a convicted felon and am just beginning to deal with situations surrounding that as well. Please ask our Heavenly Father to help me work through all of these issues. Additionally I need help finding the right words to use when I’m dealing with folks who find it impossible to believe the Word of God. They deny the truth and instead latch on to each and every conspiracy theory the passes them by. They choose to hold fast to the traditions and beliefs of Wicca, believe and practice Astrology and Numerology, and regularly consult Psychics and Tarot cards. They regard our Heavenly Father’s Words as foolish, yet anxiously accept and “thrive†on the so-called words of wisdom of long dead philosophers, relatives, and friends through Mediums and Soothsayers, or anyone claiming to have the “gift†of Clairvoyance. These folks long for the approval and guidance of mythical deities, plus faeries, elves, gnomes, and extra-terrestrials. Yet they believe any Biblical reference to Angels, Demons, The Holy Spirit, Jesus, or God can be compared to nothing more than ancient faerie tales. They look forward to the day the great and distant Galactic Federation visits our world and with the snap of a finger all of the ills facing mankind will be instantly and permanently solved. Please pray for my community. I’ve been here for 20 years and a lot has changed. There are those here now who want to change this small town environment into a mini-metropolis. We were once considered a small drinking town with a fishing problem. Unfortunately the fishing is long gone. Now we are a small town with a huge and serious drug problem (prescription pills, heroin, meth, bath salts, etc.) and it’s drawing our kids into a life of crime and degradation. Instead of college many of our youth are spending time in a facility referred to as the Grey Bar Hotel. Not as frequent, but others end up taking the long nap (six-feet under or sleeping in the urn on the fireplace mantle). The lucky ones end up unemployable with their only concern being how they can come up with the money for their next bag of weed. Instead of recognizing the issues, instead of finding a solution to the issues our civic leaders simply deny the existence of a problem and parents live in denial believing their kids will grow out of the experimental age and walk away from the drugs. It’s very sad. Please continue praying for Jason who has recovered from back surgery. Pray for Roxanne who had to quit her job and move because of her failing health. Pray the same for Christine. Please pray for David, his brother Gregory, his immediate family, his acquaintances, his employees, and all of his gambling and “off the book†friends who not only believe they are above the law, but feel they have the right and the duty to ridicule and insult those of us who don’t see eye to eye with them and they way they perform a laundry list of questionable business practices and outright illegal activities. These same folks have no problem making veiled threats toward those who “disagree†with them while smiling and shaking hands and making others believe they’re just a bunch of good old boys out having a little fun. These are evil people corrupting everything they touch. They will destroy a reputation by spreading vicious lies and damaging rumors. Please ask God to cause these folks to repent and fix the damage they have intentionally done. Please ask our Heavenly Father to shut them down before someone gets hurt. Please pray for Joe and his children Emma and Wes. Joe is having a tough time of it. Please pray for Bobby, Lynette, and their children. They are still struggling financially. Please continue praying for Leighanne who is recovering from a stroke and is in need of financial assistance. Please pray for Megan and her children. Her husband is going to prison for about three years and she’s got a lot to deal with such as raising her three or four girls by herself, etc. Pray for Jennifer who is now engaged to be married. Ask that His Will be done in her life, the life of her fiancé, and the lives of their children. Pray for Danielle who lives in a different city now. Pray for our elected officials at all levels of government (federal, state, county, local; and the overseas or foreign equivalents too). Ask God to help them to make the right decisions to benefit mankind. Pray also for those who serve and protect us, also at the local, county, state, and federal levels, plus the foreign or overseas counterparts, including police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray also for those working as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers. Please pray for those in uniform, the ones who serve and protect us. I’m talking about the members of our armed forces like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts. Please pray for Kathleen and her children. Please ask for a special blessing for this family today as they are recovering from the loss of a loved one, her husband and their father (he had retired from the Army) to cancer. Continue praying for Farhan, his family, and his congregation up in prayer. These folks are living, worshiping, and working in a war-torn, predominantly Muslim part of the world. They face daily persecution and need our prayers. Please pray for Liz who is experiencing some financial hardship. She is also trying to raise two autistic kids. Please ask God to cause musicians like Bobby, Phil, Darryl, Karen, Barry, and Oden to participate in such a gathering of Born Again performers. Please pray for the close friends, co-workers, and families of these folks who have passed away: Gary, Lisamarie, Robert, Paul, Corey, Edward, Misao, Cynthia, Dov, Leslie, Gary, Jeremy, Rudolf, Carlos, Otto, Mary Kate, EJ, Jesus, Richard, Mark, David, Richard, Dorothea, Tom, Gordon, Marlyn, Terry, Heather, Francis, Alfred, Danny, Betty, Alicia, Brandon, Jillian, Cathy, Anna, Dallas, Finbar, Virginia, Betty, Arthur, Henry, Michele, Mary Kate, Melba, Alberto, Charles, Samantha, Marciela, Jaiden, Timmy, Julius, Annie, Kim, Patricia, Cathryn, Jill, Greg, Barry, Jane, Gary, Alice, Aussy, Greg, Marion, Shannon, Annie, Ben, Jennifer, Jarrae, Martha, Kianna, Vipul, Alex, Matthew, Brandon, Jennifer, Alejandro, Joel, Albin, Helen, Bruce, George, Benjamin, David, Joyce, Bill, Tom, Joseph, Ruth, Marilyn, Jack, Brittany, Lahoma, Andrea, Lexandra, Lexi, Simon, Ronald, John, Ernesto, Charles, Gia, Audrey, Brett, Jaylen, Adam, Mike, Dane, Al, Andrew, Michael, Lester, Mike, Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, RC and Jennifer. Please continue praying for the folks living in Ukraine. Pray too for the folks in Ferguson and St. Louis. I ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
