Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Praise God! I have some prayer requests for you all. Please continue praying for Winter. She’s going in for surgery on the 5th of August. Pray for her husband Mike too. Please continue praying for Dreu and her daughter Liz, plus her children David, Sarah, and Beka. The family is in turmoil once again due to Liz being back in jail. She had served her prison term and released. No word on the reason. Please keep those folks up in prayer. Pray too for Angela. She recently broke her hand at work and was just in a golf cart accident where she sustained a number of cuts and bruises. It sounds as if she injured her ankle too. This accident occurred while she was working too. Please pray for Angela’s mom Suzan, and her daughters Lily and Eden. With the recent rash of injuries, Suzan is having to take up the slack and it’s been pretty hard on her. Please continue praying for Valentine. He’s facing felony burglary charges. Continue praying for Heather and her family. They’ve lost a number of family members. Pray that her daughter recovers quickly from whatever caused her trip to the emergency room. Please continue praying for Beth’s speedy recovery. Please continue praying for Leila. She’s facing felony drug charges and may be facing 20 years in the Graybar Hotel. Pray for her family too. Continue praying for Chris’s speedy recovery. She suffered some serious head injuries. Pray also for her family. Please keep praying for Melissa. She was in a serious auto accident last week. Part of her leg was amputated. Pray for a speedy recovery too. Pray for her family as well. Keep praying for Daniel who is home recovering from his spinal surgery. Keep Brandon and his family up in prayer. Last news I received this young man was in intensive care with a broken back. He’s paralyzed. Pray for his doctors, pray for him, and pray for his family. Please continue praying for Millie. She was considering suicide. Pray for her family too. Pray too for Suzette. God knows the situation. Pray for a miraculous healing. Pray for Fred and his wife. This couple recently lost their son. Apparently he died while in custody. Pray for Roberta who is going through chemo. Please pray for me. There’s a battle brewing between the folks in charge of my worker’s compensation claim and myself. Cash is being withheld and the powers that be are forcing me to travel a great distance to get checked by an independent examiner. I’m worried about my job, but I appear to be doing better. Pray for my mental and physical health too. Keep praying for Becky. She seems to be doing better, but she still needs to be healed. Pray for my mom. She’s having some issues with a former boyfriend that are going to end up costing her a lot of money if he or his family doesn’t kick in to help clean up the mess he left on her property. Please continue praying for Michele and Nick. They lost their father in a motorcycle accident. Pray for the entire family. Please continue praying for me. Physically and mentally I’m falling apart. I’m having a very difficult time getting back into shape. Pray for Lily. She’s been having to make a lot of trips to the emergency room. Pray for her family too. Pray for Brandon, Carey, Corey, and John. They’re all confused, possibly using again, and definitely in need of prayer. Please pray for Shakina. Let’s just say she really needs God’s Help. He knows the situation. Pray for her family too. Pray for Bob. He was experiencing some heart issues. Pray for my cousin Robert who is having to work way too much to get caught up financially because he was unable to work for quite a while due to health problems. Please pray for Tom who is just settling in to a new assisted living home. Please pray for Dreu, her daughters Liz, Beka, and Sarah, and her son, David. God knows what they are going through. Pray for me as I’m in need of a physical, spiritual, and emotional healing as well. God knows all of the details. Additionally I need help finding the right words to use when I’m dealing with folks who find it impossible to believe the Word of God. They deny the truth and instead latch on to each and every conspiracy theory the passes them by. They choose to hold fast to the traditions and beliefs of Wicca, believe and practice Astrology and Numerology, and regularly consult Psychics and Tarot cards. They regard our Heavenly Father’s Words as foolish, yet anxiously accept and “thrive†on the so-called words of wisdom of long dead philosophers, relatives, and friends through Mediums and Soothsayers, or anyone claiming to have the “gift†of Clairvoyance. These folks long for the approval and guidance of mythical deities, plus faeries, elves, gnomes, and extra-terrestrials. Yet they believe any Biblical reference to Angels, Demons, The Holy Spirit, Jesus, or God can be compared to nothing more than ancient faerie tales. They look forward to the day the great and distant Galactic Federation visits our world and with the snap of a finger all of the ills facing mankind will be instantly and permanently solved. Please pray for my community. I’ve been here for 20 years and a lot has changed. There are those here now who want to change this small town environment into a mini-metropolis. We were once considered a small drinking town with a fishing problem. Unfortunately the fishing is long gone. Now we are a small town with a huge and serious drug problem (prescription pills, heroin, meth, bath salts, etc.) and it’s drawing our kids into a life of crime and degradation. Instead of college many of our youth are spending time in a facility referred to as the Grey Bar Hotel. Not as frequent, but others end up taking the long nap (six-feet under or sleeping in the urn on the fireplace mantle). The lucky ones end up unemployable with their only concern being how they can come up with the money for their next bag of weed. Instead of recognizing the issues, instead of finding a solution to the issues our civic leaders simply deny the existence of a problem and parents live in denial believing their kids will grow out of the experimental age and walk away from the drugs. It’s very sad. Continue praying for David, his brother Gregory, and his immediate family, his acquaintances, his employees, and all of his gambling and “off the book†friends who not only believe they are above the law, but feel they have the right and the duty to ridicule and insult those of us who don’t see eye to eye with them and they way they perform a laundry list of questionable business practices and outright illegal activities. These same folks have no problem making veiled threats toward those who “disagree†with them while smiling and shaking hands and making others believe they’re just a bunch of good old boys out having a little fun. These are evil people corrupting everything they touch. They will destroy a reputation by spreading vicious lies and damaging rumors. Please ask God to cause these folks to repent and fix the damage they have intentionally done. Please ask our Heavenly Father to shut them down before someone gets hurt. Pray for our elected officials at all levels of government (federal, state, county, local; and the overseas or foreign equivalents too). Ask God to help them to make the right decisions to benefit mankind. Pray also for those who serve and protect us, also at the local, county, state, and federal levels, plus the foreign or overseas counterparts, including police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray also for those working as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers. Please pray for those in uniform, the ones who serve and protect us. I’m talking about the members of our armed forces like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts. Please pray for Kathleen and her children. Please ask for a special blessing for this family today as they are recovering from the loss of a loved one, her husband and their father (he had retired from the Army) to cancer. Continue praying for Farhan, his family, and his congregation up in prayer. These folks are living, worshiping, and working in a war-torn, predominantly Muslim part of the world. They face daily persecution and need our prayers. Please pray for Liz who is experiencing some financial hardship. She is also trying to raise two autistic kids.
