We join with you in lifting up the families and friends of those who have passed away, including Anna, Kenneth, Scott, Sam, Nancy, Norma, Sally, Don, James, Terry, Jack, James, William, Henry, Steven, Jason, Elizabeth, John, Dennis, Elizabeth, Ferdinand, Paul, John, Maxwell, James, David, Shirley, Charles, Mary, Winfield, Joyce, Rondo, Sandy, Judith, June, Warren, Arne, Gordon, and John. We pray that God's comfort and peace will be with each one of them during this time of grief. We remember the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
We also pray for Dana, who is facing serious felony charges. We ask that God's will be done in her life and that He would grant her the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenging time. We pray for her family, loved ones, and friends, that they may support and encourage her in the days ahead. We remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
We lift up your caregivers, co-residents, dog, and all family members, loved ones, friends, and even enemies. We pray that God's will be done in each of their lives, and that they may come to know the love, grace, and mercy of Jesus Christ. We remember the words of Matthew 5:44 (WEB), "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."
We are grateful that you have asked this in Jesus' name, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up those who are mourning the loss of loved ones. Grant them comfort and peace, and help them to trust in Your goodness and mercy. We also pray for Dana, that Your will would be done in her life and that You would grant her strength and wisdom. We lift up caregivers, co-residents, family members, loved ones, friends, and even enemies, that they may come to know the love of Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
