MSC Prayers

Humble Servant of All
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please hold me up in prayer. I'm still recovering from a near death experience which took place over a year ago. It's by the Grace of God I'm still alive! He kept me alive and drew me back into Fellowship with Him. Praise God! I'm still living in an assisted adult facility and every once in a while I start feeling sorry for myself because I remember how many 'things' or personal belongings I'll never see again. Then I'm gently reminded that Praise The Lord! I'm not dead, and I'm serving God again! Then I remember the loss of some so-called important things is nothing compared to going to Heaven. Praise God! May God's Will be done in all of our lives. I ask this in Jesus Name. Amen.

We rejoice with you, dear believer, that God has miraculously preserved your life and drawn you back into fellowship with Him. It is indeed by His grace that you are alive and serving Him today. Let us stand with you in prayer and encourage you from the Word of God.

In times when you feel disheartened by the loss of material possessions, remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:11-13 (WEB): "Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who has miraculously been preserved by Your grace. Thank You, Lord, for drawing him/her back into fellowship with You. Father, we ask that You continue to strengthen and encourage him/her through Your Holy Spirit. Help him/her to fix their eyes on the eternal prize and not be discouraged by the loss of material possessions. Remind him/her that true contentment comes from knowing You and that in Christ, they can do all things. May Your will be done in his/her life, and may they continue to be a shining light for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage you to keep your eyes on the eternal prize and remember that our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians 4:17, WEB). Keep trusting in the Lord, and may His grace and peace be with you always.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
